In accordance with the NBU Strategy until 2025 and the SEP development roadmap, and taking into account Ukraine's EU candidate status, the NBU has converted to a new generation of the NBU's System of Electronic Payments (SEP 4.0) based on the international standard ISO 20022.
As of 1 April 2023, interbank payments are transacted in the new generation of SEP 4.0 24/7.
The software and infrastructure of SEP 4.0 were developed by the National Bank of Ukraine.
