Banks Remain Profitable by Lending and Investing in Domestic Government Debt Securities
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) produces and publishes economic and financial data for use in making monetary policy decisions and monitoring compliance with policy decisions. The data are also used to conduct macroeconomic analyses, assess financial stability, and inform users including government bodies, financial market participants, and the public.
The central bank gathers, compiles, and disseminates statistics data.
The NBU’s statistics meet international standards and the best practices of the IMF, the European Central Bank (ECB), and other central banks. This allows the data to be directly compared to data from other countries.
The NBU safeguards the confidentiality of private data and seeks to make reporting as simple as possible.
