Coins are a symbol of statehood and a rich source of information about important events, traditions, culture, sports and nature. The National Bank has introduced its own numismatic program to celebrate anniversaries, memorable events in Ukraine and the world. All products are made at the Mint of the National Bank.
The NBU produces the following types of numismatic souvenirs: medals, silver replicas of banknotes, silver souvenir hryvnias of the Kyiv Rus type, sets of circulation and small-change coins, commemorative banknotes, uncut banknote sheets.
Coins can be purchased through:
NBU online store: which will offer 60% of the newly issued numismatic products for sale (starting from 3 May 2024);
distributor banks: 6% of the mintage volume of the newly issued numismatic products
